By signing below I acknowledge and agree that I have read, or have had explained to me, the pool rules for the Chadds Ford Homeowners Association and I agree to comply with the Cobb County Health and Safety Rules (posted at the pool), the Chadds Ford Homeowners Rules and the posted hours of operation.  Anyone violating these rules or is in the pool area after hours of operation will be disciplined up to and including denied access to the pool facilities for the remainder of the season.  

In addition, I understand that “Swim at Your Own Risk” is a time during which the CFHOA has determined that there will be no life guard or other person available for the aid of swimmers.  Therefore, if my family or I elect to utilize the pool during such periods then we do so AT OUR OWN RISK.  By signing below, the Recreational Member agrees to release the Officers and Committee Chairpersons of any and all liability during the Swim at Your Own Risk hours.

Special Note Regarding Children When A Lifeguard is ON DUTY

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult or a qualified swimmer 18 yrs of age or older.  If the supervising adult or qualified swimmer is a Chadds Ford/Chadds Creek resident, they must be a recreational member of the CFHOA.  Prior arrangements must be made with the CFHOA board for all non-resident babysitters and their signatures must be included in the waiver below.  Children 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Children ages 12 through 15 may access the pool without being accompanied by an adult at the discretion of the lifeguard.  This age group MUST PASS A SWIM TEST to be unaccompanied at the pool.  The test consists of being able to swim 2 laps of the pool without stopping and be able to tread water for 2 minutes.

Household Members Using the Pool and Signatures

Each household member age 6 or older residing in a CFHOA Member’s home, whether full-time or part-time, is required to sign this form.
